After much research I decided on this mower to use in my small lawn care business for the last 3 years. It is a great value for the money! Starting a new business I tried to get the most bang for the buck by adding the bagger attachment for customers that didn't want their yard mulched. Bagger is awful. The chute to the bagger would clog up way too quickly even when there was not much grass height to be cut. I tried different blades and different types of cutting but it never improved. I would have done much better to have left it off to begin with. I spent more time unclogging it than cutting in most situations. Without the bagger the mower is great! Regular maintenance has kept me from having any major issues. I would buy this mower again if I had it to do all over again.

Do your research before buying this mower. I have had mine for two years and it has been in the shop twice. Kohler motor smokes and has from day one when you crank it. Dealer adjusted rpm but did not help. Belt runs on plastic pulleys...yes plastic. I am on my third set of pulleys. No these are not covered by warranty so I put on the last set. Ride is so uncomfortable I let air out of the tires to soften the ride. Now I know why they redesigned the seat for more comfort which by the way is over 800.00 plus installation. The seat has three springs under it I also removed one of the springs to help with ride. I will say it is a fast mower with a nice cut.

        Comments about Exmark Pioneer E-Series:

I use this mower to cut my Pawpaw's yard which is close to 2 acres. It has taken what used to take 2-2.5 hrs and knocked it down to just over an hour.

        Service and delivery comments:

I picked it up at the dealer and have done the 5hr service. The service dept was wonderful.

        Great Mower

        By

        from US

        Comments about Exmark Pioneer E-Series:

Great mower - This review will hopefully help those with the questions I had. Fitting through gates..The actual dimensions (without the chute) is about 49 to 49 1/2 so it will fit through 50 inch gates very easily. Good power, sturdy deck, fast cutting, comfortable (I might consider getting suspension seat) I have the E series pioneer and had the tires upgraded to the S series tire which are the same size as the Lazer Z. I had the wider tries put on for slopes. I had the mulch kit installed and it also does great. This mower is priced really well to be commercial...no it isn't a FULL blown out commercial mower, but I think the commercial talk can be a little overrated IMO.

The drop down menu did not work but I have a 48inch cut and I cut 5 acres in about 2 hours. the only this I can say that is not desirable is that it is rough riding but mowers usually are.
