Hydro Drive Life Extension Program

With the redesign of the hydraulic systems, Exmark has created a maintenance system that when used with Exmark Premium Hydraulic Oil, has been tested in the field to operate in the toughest of conditions while maintaining cooler system temperatures than other hydraulic applications.

With proper preventative maintenance and care, this hydro system has proven it can deliver long term durability for the extent of the warranty coverage and beyond.

The key to achieving this long term durability is YOU.

Exmark's customer service team is pleased to announce we are expanding our Hydro Life Extension program which increases the hydro coverage guideline on your eligible units by having your dealer perform basic hydro maintenance and service requirements. You can ensure a long and trouble free ownership experience with your hydro system.

All owners, commercial or residential, of Lazer E, S and X units equipped with a hydraulic drive system with less than 300 hours at the time of the first service and owners of Exmark's NEW Radius E, S and X series units with less than 100 hours at the time of the first service.

This is not a program where you pay anything up front, you pay for the service at the time it is performed. To be eligible for this program you simply need to agree to let your local Exmark dealer perform the hydraulic services at the appropriate intervals for your machine as noted below.

Lazer Z E-, S- and X-Series
  • Change the oil and filters on your hydro system five times during the extended hour coverage guideline.
  • These changes should occur at 250, 750, 1250, 1750, and 2250 hours plus or minus a 50 hour window.
  • We ask our customers to consider additional loads put on the unit with accessories like an UltraVac or if the unit is operated in hilly terrain. If these conditions are present we ask that 50 hours be deducted from the change interval for each of these situations that may exist.
Radius E- and S-Series
  • Change the oil and filters on your hydro system two times during the extended hour coverage guideline.
  • These changes should occur at 75 hours plus or minus 25 hours and 600 hours plus or minus 50 hours.
  • We ask our customers to consider additional loads put on the unit with accessories like an UltraVac or if the unit is operated in hilly terrain. If these conditions are present we ask that 25 hours be deducted from the first service and 50 hours be deducted from the second service interval for each of these situations that may exist.
Radius X-Series
  • Change the oil and filters on your hydro system three times during the extended hour coverage guideline.
  • These changes should occur at 75 hours plus or minus 25 hours, 600 hours plus or minus 50 hours and 1100 hours plus or minus 50 hours.
  • We ask our customers to consider additional loads put on the unit with accessories like an UltraVac or if the unit is operated in hilly terrain. If these conditions are present we ask that 25 hours be deducted from the first service and 50 hours be deducted from the second and third service interval for each of these situations that may exist.

The dealer should charge you a maximum of .5 hours of labor so in addition to the oil and filters (which you should be buying anyway) your out of pocket expense for being in the program is less than $200.00 for the labor (based on a $75.00 posted shop labor rate). We will send you periodic reminders to check the hours on your unit so you can schedule the service with your dealer within the window of plus or minus the appropriate hours as previously discussed. Your Exmark dealer will then quickly document your compliance with the program by using our warranty claims system.

  • Exmark will extend the warranty coverage guideline on the hydro drive systems for units registered after August 1, 2016 as follows:
    • Lazer E and S Series units from 1250 hours to 2500 hours.
    • Lazer X Series units from 1500 hours to 3000 hours.
    • Radius E Series units from 500 hours to 750 hours.
    • Radius S Series units from 750 hours to 1000 hours.
    • Radius X Series units from 1000 hours to 1500 hours.
      Note: We are extending the hour guideline and not your actually warranty coverage period.
  • Minimize the chance of a pre-mature non-warrantable failure to your hydro drive system.
  • Maximize the performance and life of your hydro drive system.
  • Greatly reduce your chances of costly downtime for non-warrantable repairs which means you increase your productivity and reduce your cost of ownership.
  • Documenting proper maintenance may enhance the trade-in value of your properly maintained and serviced units.

A special enrollment process is not necessary to benefit from this program. You simply take your unit to your local dealer to perform the required services at the required intervals. In turn, they will document the hours at the time the services were completed. You will only need to complete an enrollment form if you would like automated reminders to check the hours on your unit. To enroll, select the enroll my unit button, fill out the required information then submit. You will receive an email within a few days notifying you that your enrollment was successful. Be sure to have your units serial number and hour meter reading ready. Be sure to notify your dealer at the time of service that you are participating in the program.
