Ergonomic Controls

Exmark’s operator centric control center places all vital mower controls close to the operator’s hands, so they’re easy and intuitive to reach. On the Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn, all primary controls are located on the right-side pod, which is sloped to match the operator’s arm. Drive controls are adjustable for both height and responsiveness to better match operator sizes and preferences.
Lazer Z Seating System & Iso Mounts
When it comes to operator comfort, on a zero-turn mower, it all comes down to the seat. Since the launch of the original Lazer Z in 1995, Exmark has played a leadership role in helping make long days on the mower more comfortable and sustainable day after day. Today, the Lazer Z continues to lead the way in operator comfort with its deluxe suspension seat. It combines long-travel suspension with Exmark’s exclusive iso-mount seat isolation and Elastomeric Vibration Control material in the seat base. The result is superior isolation from bumps and vibrations in all three planes of motion. The seat also flips up for easy access to the hydro drive system.
ECS Control System
Designed to make operating a big, powerful wide-area walk-behind mower easier and safer, Exmark’s patented ECS control system places all vital mower controls within easy reach of the operator’s hands. With less movement required to control the mower, ECS makes it easier for operators to achieve maximum productivity with less hand, arm and upper body fatigue. In fact, University testing has found that landscape pros prefer the ECS controls system over all others on the market.
Suspended Operator Platform
On a stand-on mower, the operator platform is where the money is made. Exmark takes operator comfort to the next level on Vertex models by suspending the wide, open operator platform on isolation bumpers. When combined with the thick, bolstered operator pad, the suspended operator platform minimizes the effects of bumps and vibration over a long work day.
