Exmark Launches Customer-centric Campaign and Community Website
Exmark’s new marketing campaign focuses on customers, connections and Exmark pride.
Louisville, KY (October 28, 2010) — Exmark, a leading manufacturer of commercial-grade mowers, is launching a customer-focused marketing and advertising campaign designed for Exmark customers and fans of the brand. Components of the campaign include a customer-focused social media program called exmarkpride.com, customer and dealer awards, contests, new advertising and decals, and free giveaways.
“This year, we’re really turning our focus toward helping our customers make connections and share what they love about their mowers and their jobs,” said Daryn Walters, director of marketing at Exmark Manufacturing. “At Exmark, we’re about more than just mowers and this is our opportunity to give back and provide additional support to the people that support our brand.”
A major piece of the campaign is the launch of a new Exmark member community website, exmarkpride.com. The site is centered on customers’ continued commitment and passion for the Exmark brand and will serve as a primary location for Exmark owners, operators, landscape professionals, dealers and fans to connect.
At exmarkpride.com, members can share their favorite Exmark ‘moments,’ ideas, mowing tips and stories, interact with Exmark and industry experts and gain special access into what is happening at Exmark. Members will also have access to business tools, receive exclusive Exmark offers on products and parts, participate in monthly contests and have the ability to win and purchase exclusive Exmark gear.
All individuals registered at exmarkpride.com by December 31 will be eligible to win a Lazer Z X-Series unit.
The Mark Award is another piece of the new campaign. This annual award will recognize the best of the best within the Exmark Community – a dealer and a landscape pro that embody Exmark pride in everything they do.
“We want the Exmark community to tell us who’s the best and who deserves industry recognition,” said Walters. “We want this award to be something that is coveted within the Exmark community – something that pros and dealers strive for year after year.”
Nominations for the Mark Award will be open to the Exmark community in January 2011. Voting will be open throughout the summer. Each winner will receive a free trip to GIE + EXPO in 2011, where they will be recognized with their Mark Award.
Additional components to the campaign include:
- New gear. A line of new Exmark ‘X’ merchandise available at www.exmark.com
- Welcome kits for new Exmark owners. A free welcome kit with all new products containing an Exmark ‘X’ hat, trailer decals and t-shirt
- Free Exmark ‘X’ decals. Now available in the 2011 full-line literature, on select print advertising and at various dealer locations.
