Exmark Introduces UltraVac Collection System for Lazer Z Propane

October 21, 2014

Quick-attach design enables easy switching from bagging to side-discharge without tools

Beatrice, Neb. (October 22, 2014) — Exmark today announced that it will offer two new UltraVac collection systems for the popular Lazer Z Propane zero-turn mower in 2015. The new collection systems make it easier for landscape professionals to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

Exmark Director of Marketing, Daryn Walters, said the company had numerous customer requests for an UltraVac system for the Lazer Z Propane.

“Each day, an increasing number of landscape maintenance professionals are realizing the cost, productivity and environmental benefits modern propane mowers provide. As our customer base of Lazer Z Propane users has grown, so too have the frequency of requests for an UltraVac collection system for the machine.”

The new UltraVac systems are available for all model years of the 60-inch Lazer Z Propane mower. Two systems are available: a three-bag UltraVac S-Series system, and the hopper-style UltraVac X-Series system.

Both UltraVac systems feature a compact design that minimizes the footprint for increased maneuverability and easier trailering of the machine. Exmark’s five-blade abrasion-resistant steel impeller combines with the smooth-bore, large-diameter tube to easily transfer a high volume of debris and clippings. A patented hood seal reduces dust around the engine and operator.

The UltraVac X-Series system features an 11-bushel hopper built from commercial-grade steel and polyethylene. The Quick Discharge System (QDS) design allows the rear-discharge door to be opened and closed from the driver’s seat for maximum productivity and minimized wear and tear on the operator.

The robust 12-bushel capacity of the UltraVac S-Series system gives landscape professionals maximum capacity courtesy of three commercial-grade cloth mesh bags with reinforced bottoms.

The quick-attach design of both the S and X-Series allows the operator to switch from bagging to side-discharge in minutes, without tools.
