Exmark Introduces New Cutting Deck Option for Quest

BeatriceNE (February 18, 2009) — Exmark will offer a new cutting deck option for its zero-turn Quest® riding mower in 2009. Quest, Exmark's first mower built specifically for homeowners, will be available with a 42-inch deck. In addition, Exmark will continue to offer Quest models with 48-inch and 52-inch cutting decks.

Exmark created the new Quest model to accommodate both homeowners with smaller properties and consumers searching for a lower-cost option. Though there are slight differences between the 42-inch Quest and previous models with larger decks, the benefits to homeowners are the same.

?Our customers, whether they own acreages or smaller properties, don't want to spend hours mowing on the weekend," said John Cloutier, senior marketing manager for Exmark. ?With Quest, they can spend maybe an hour, then go hunt, fish or do what they really love to do."

Quest is built with the same heavy-duty construction as Exmark's commercial-grade mowers. The patented cutting-deck design made from heavy-duty, 10-gauge steel ensures maximum durability and yields a professional cut every time. Quest also offers the option to bag or mulch the grass clippings.

Quest mowers also come with a 20-, 22- or 24-horsepower Briggs & Stratton® Extended Life Series twin-cycle engines. The 42-inch Quest delivers professional results at speeds up to 6 mph. Exmark offers a 3-year consumer warranty on all Quest models.
