Exmark Expands its Residential Zero-Turn Line with New Quest X-Series Model

With the introduction of its new Quest X-Series model, Exmark has taken its residential zero-turn mower performance to a whole new level. The new machine sits at the top of the company’s three-model Quest family of zero-turn riding mowers.

Exmark Product Manager, Mike Mayfield, said the Quest X-Series gives home and acreage owners increased commercial performance and features.

“The Quest X-Series leverages technologies developed for our commercial zero-turn mowers to give homeowners the increased productivity they need to finish mowing faster,” Mayfield said. “And with a new seat, larger, smoother riding drive tires and a deeper floor pan for more leg room, the Quest X-Series is comfortable for a wide range of operators.”

Powered by a 24.5-hp* Kohler KT735 twin-cylinder engine, the Quest X-Series has the power to handle tough mowing jobs. New for the Quest family of mowers, the 48-inch Quest X-Series is equipped with an UltraCut Series 3 cutting deck featuring Exmark’s exclusive flow-control baffles for that signature Exmark quality of cut. Fabricated and welded from 10-gauge steel with 7-gauge side skirts, the UltraCut Series 3 deck also features large-diameter cutter housings for increased long-term durability.

Upgraded with a heavy duty, Hydro-Gear ZT2800 integrated hydro transmission provides increased ground speed, with a serviceable design for increased long-term durability. And with just two annual grease points, a flip-up seat and tools-free removable belt shields, Exmark designed the Quest X-Series to be quick and easy to maintain.

Other features of the Quest X-Series mower include:

  • Easy to use height-of-cut adjustment system
  • Digital hour meter
  • Reliable sight window fuel gauge
  • Easy to fill single-point fuel tank
  • Integrated hitch
