Beatrice Community Hospital Receives Exmark Mower Donation

Exmark announced today that is has donated a new zero-turn riding mower to the facilities and grounds maintenance team at Beatrice Community Hospital. The new Lazer Z X-Series commercial mower will help the team maintain the hospital campus, as well as its extended campus locations.

Exmark Senior Financial Planner, Patty Kaufman, said the donation is part of the company’s ongoing effort to help local non-profit organizations beautify their outdoor landscapes.

“We’re proud to support the Beatrice Community Hospital with this donation,” Kaufman said. “The work they do is irreplaceable, so it’s our honor to be able to help their grounds crew make the campus a more beautiful, inviting place to visit and work.”

Capable of cutting a full 6-foot swath with each pass, the new Exmark mower will help the BCH grounds crew more quickly maintain the hospital’s 845,750 square feet of green space. The mower’s zero-turn maneuverability enables the crew to efficiently mow around landscaping and trees as well.

Each year, Exmark helps local non-profit organizations maintain their facilities and positively impact their communities with the donation of mowers and equipment. Recipients must be located within a 30-mile radius of the Exmark facility in Beatrice, Nebraska, and the equipment must be used on-site for landscape beautification, job skills training, or to encourage and support home ownership.

Applications for Exmark’s 2022 mower donation must be submitted by May 13, 2022 at 12:00PM CDT. Visit the Exmark website to learn more about all of the company’s giving programs.
