About The Farm Shop Inc. - Edina, MO

25 years ago, in the worst farm economy since the Great Depression, Alan Dixson & Jim Hamm started up a repair shop for farm equipment and decided to start selling shortline equipment such as Great Plains, Krone, Vermeer and A&L grain carts. Their belief in servicing what they sold helped them grow into a full line dealership by 1987 and they have continued to grow to the present day. Today they sell a lot more lines of machinery than they did in 1985, but they still believe in servicing what they sell. The Farm Shop sells and services the following AGCO brands: AGCO, Gleaner, Hesston, Massey Ferguson, New Idea, Sunflower, and White planters. Other lines sold and serviced by The Farm Shop are: ArtsWay, Great Plains, Landpride, Krone, Bush Hog, Danuser, Landoll, Koyker, Westfield, Westendorf, ALO - Quicke, KillBros, J&M, Vermeer, and Schulte, In the lawn & garden line, we sell and service Exmark and Simplicity. To take good care of our lawn & garden customers we are also authorized dealers for Briggs & Stratton, Kohler and Kawasaki engines. Our goal is satisfied customers. With the small population base in northeast Missouri, the only way to stay in business for 25 years is take care of the customer. On Memorial Day 2010 we were officially closed so our employees could spend time with their families, but somehow the doors were open, the phones got answered, and parts were available for over 11 hours that day, just like in 1985.
