About Hannibal Tractor - Hannibal, MO

We are a fourth generation family owned company with Exmark locations in Hannibal and Bowling Green, MO and Jerseyville, IL. Our parent store is in Quincy, IL. Our dealership started in 1962 in Dow, IL as a Minneapolis Moline dealership. When they were bought out we moved to Quincy, IL and bought out a New Holland, New Idea and Minneapolis Moline dealer in Walter Chatten Co. In 1984, Great River Ford went bankrupt and we bought their building (where we are located today north of Quincy) and took on the Ford Tractor line. In 2008, Lance Carlson bought out his father and uncle and renamed the dealership Quincy Tractor. In 2010 we bought Bowling Green Equipment in Bowling Green, MO. We renamed it Bowling Green Tractor. This was our first Exmark dealership. In 2011 we bought Howard Bier Co. in Hannibal, MO. We immediately brought Exmark into the mix. We opened a brand new store in Jerseyville, IL called Midwest Tractor Sales - Jerseyville. They are now an Exmark Dealer as well. In 2016 we expanded again with the purchase of Green Hills Ag in Brookfield, MO. Today we have 5 locations to serve Northeast Missouri and the Mississippi River region.
